Cleaning For A Reason is a non profit organization that partners with Pam And A Bucket to offer Free Cleaning For Cancer Patients in West MI. Pam And A Bucket provides cleaning services along the lakeshore from Ludington to North Holland.

Our Cleaning Company has been a part of a nationwide effort to help individuals who are suffering from cancer. We have been a partner with Cleaning For A Reason since 2018. We make it our duty to help those in their time of need. While our company does donate time and money, our staff is compensated for their time helping these individuals who are suffering.  Many of us have survived cancer, most of us know someone who is suffering from cancer and we know they could use a hand around the home. Our Cleaning Company isn’t just about scrubbing toilets and vacuuming floors. We really want to and really can make a difference in the lives of people right here in our community.  Those who are in the middle of a battle for their lives need us. Cleaning for a Reason is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization that offers free home cleaning to cancer patients in both the United States and Canada. Their goal is to remove the burden of cleaning and allow those in recovery from surgery, in active treatment or hospice care to focus on their health and spend their valuable time with their friends, family and loved ones. ## Who is Eligible for Free Cleanings## Children

All types of cancer are hard. Childhood cancer is a real problem and is probably the worst kind in many peoples opinions. Seeing an innocent children sick and fighting for their lives is one of the most heart-wrenching things I could ever think of. 

As a parent, when your child is sick, you want to do everything you can to make them better. 

Sometimes, the hardest part, is we can’t do anything. We have to leave it in the hands of the medical teams, who thankfully know what to do.

While your child is going through treatments, you shouldn’t have to worry about the house being clean. Your focus is better spent on the care your child is receiving. We want to help.  ## Women

Cleaning for a Reason started with providing cleaning for just women. Only in the past few years they expanded to service all individuals. 

Women are the caretakers for the home. We are daughters, mothers, wives and more. Some of us are Career focused, while others are family focused.

When we’re sick, things are not done to our usual abilities and standards. Naturally, we feel like we should still be doing ALL the things.

You don’t have to. Give yourself a break. Self Care isn’t selfish! The last thing you should worry about when in recovery is if the house is clean or not. ## Men

Men are sons, brothers, fathers, husbands and more. They stereotypically are the ones who fix things when they’re broken and take care of things that need to be done.  

When you have cancer, you’re so sick you can’t do the usual things you want to or need to do. Battling cancer is a serious fight that nobody should fight alone.
