Here’s Some of our FAQ’s we get. We’ve put together this list to help answer questions ahead of time. 

We service the north side of Ottawa County, Most of Muskegon County, All of Oceana County and All of Mason County. Major areas we are in often include North Holland, West Olive, Grand Haven, Spring Lake, Ferrysburg, Norton Shores, Muskegon, North Muskegon, Whitehall, Montague, Rothbury, New Era, Shelby, Hart, Mears, Pentwater and Ludington. We have 2 locations to serve you with both North and South Teams.

Every home is different, its difficult to estimate a price without first seeing what the property condition is in. Generally we need to know more information about your property. Some information will include how many bedrooms, bathrooms, offices etc in addition to square footage, then give you an estimate with several cleaning tier options. 

We also offer one time services with set budgets and priority lists based on your needs. We are happy to work within your budget whenever possible.

Every property owner has different needs, average sized homes with average traffic may need bi-weekly cleaning. Cleaning service schedules can be changed at anytime if you feel weekly services are needed just contact us! Like most cleaning services we offer daily, weekly, and bi-weekly, monthly and seasonal cleaning services. We also offer one time cleanings to those that need it.

Local cleaners we screen to be trustworthy individuals, with experience cleaning professionally. We also train our staff to provide consistent services. We do full background checks as well.

If you require a full cleaning service nothing is required, although hazardous waste should be dealt with appropriately, so please notify us of any. If you pick any of our lower option plans, many  of them require that toys and other objects be removed from flooring to insure the job is completed in a timely manner. Other issues may also arise where an area may be hard to reach for cleaning tools.

The decision is really up to you. We do not mind seeing you for scheduled cleanings, and its a great opportunity to build a trusting business relationship with our clients. Though it may get a bit loud due to vacuums during our visit, we will try our best to preserve your peace if notified. You can fully trust us with making sure your home is very secure if you are not present, while on the property, and as we leave.

All clients are scheduled accordingly and will be notified a day in advance of our arrival. Stuff happens right? If you just cant work cleaning services into the schedule for the week, please let us know! We are more than happy to accommodate, after all you are our client! Don’t let those dust bunnies build up for too long , skipping too many cleanings makes it tougher on everyone, and it’s more cost effective to have a routine clean.

Pam And A Bucket has a strict policy that will ensure the replacement of items if they are damaged. Some items in the home or office we may be weary of cleaning such as flat screen TV’s that hang on a wall or expensive artwork. Please let us know about other items that would need special attention, such as putting new bamboo flooring in throughout the home. Although we know how to clean many surfaces, it is in your best interests to let us know before we arrive so that we bring the right tools to do the best job safely.

Most cleaning services charge for appointments missed that are not canceled in advance. We do charge a $50 fee if you do not cancel prior to our arrival, however if you let us know before the team arrives there’s no charge. We do urge our clients to provide us a key or key code so that if you are not home we can still gain access, perform our duties, lock up and just invoice you later.

Let us know and we will come back to fix it, free of charge. If you’re calling us back, we are already turning around. Just point us in the direction and its done!

 You are under no liability for our employees or any tax expenses. If you have any questions we are more than happy to help, just give us a call or send a message.

We provide all cleaning supplies and equipment. If a special product is requested that we do not use, just let us know and we will be more than happy to discuss it with you. Some products contain noxious chemicals and are only to be used outside the home or office. We would be pleased to inform you on the product that you require. Upon request we can show you our library of MSDS sheets (Material Safety Data Sheet)  for cleaning products that we use.

We prefer for a minimum of 24 hours notice, but we are all human and things come up. Reschedules are always available when needed.

 

If your home cleaning falls on a holiday (depending on which holiday it is) we will make sure to schedule your cleaning on a different date close to the date of the holiday, so you don’t miss a clean – especially during those important times to have your home cleaned.

We accept many forms of payment. Most of our clients sign up for AutoPay, but we also have other options like PayPal, Venmo, CashApp and Invoice link. Some of our clients choose to pay with Zelle banking services. Tell us what works best for you and we will be happy to implement it.
